Lead Recruiter

Your Unique Opportunity


We are seeking an outstanding Lead Recruiter to take the reins in achieving our vision – for AnswerLab to be known for attracting, hiring and developing the best talent in the industry. We have an amazing team of 30+ people and a strong culture to build from. Our team members come from leading companies like Forrester, Nielsen, eBay, LinkedIn, CBS Interactive and Wells Fargo. Many of our team members have PhDs, master’s degrees and MBAs from top schools, and have a fascinating variety of research and business expertise.


At AnswerLab, you will:

  • Be a role model for the AnswerLab company culture.
  • Build and nurture a talent pipeline
  • Create an efficient, repeatable recruiting process that maintains our high standards for hiring while significantly reducing our average time to fill open positions.
  • Use technology and social media to tap the best talent sources and create a recruiting buzz about AnswerLab.
  • Be passionate about finding the most talented professionals who also match our Core Values.
  • Manage and execute all aspects of recruiting new AnswerLab team members – including consulting with hiring managers on role definitions, advertising open positions, spending lots of time on the phone networking and connecting with talented candidates, screening candidates, negotiating offers and overseeing the on-boarding process.
  • Take the lead in selecting and implementing an online Applicant Tracking System.
  • Use your detail orientation and organizational skills to maintain a set of metrics around our talent pipeline and our recruiting key performance indicators.
  • Build relationships with selected schools that have top-ranked programs in our space
  • Coordinate new hire training
  • Support recruiting efforts mainly for our San Francisco office but also for our newly-opened New York City office.
  • Through innovation and creativity continue to evolve and improve our recruiting efforts over time.

Keys to Success


Ideally you will have a college degree and at least 8 to 10 years of experience, preferably a mix of both contract/agency and in-house experience. It’s a strong plus if you have experience recruiting candidates with professional services backgrounds. You will be a success here if you bring the right experience and you’re a strong fit with our six Core Values:
